We Still Got A Long Way to Ho (Ho Ho!)

HAPPY HOLIDAYS All Y'all!! Nashville pussy Hits the road again TOMORROW! after an amzingly productive week writing new songs with none other than Mr Daniel Rey - who graced us with his presence for three glorious days here in the ATL before hitting the Xmas Circuit with Mz. Ronnie Spector. We had a ball and came up with some pretty impressive new stuff. Hopefully the audiences in the next week will be so kind as to let us try some of them out.
Unfortunate news, Mr Shelton Williams AKA Hank III/ASSJACK - won't be joining this tour as previously announced. we just found out yesterday that he'd had to pull out of this tour but hopefully that will pave the way for the Truly Unholy Union of NASHVILLEPUSSYHANKIII tour down the line, coz now they owe us cuz!
With or without- the Pussies will be doing the glorious trek across this fine country to celebrate Xmas in no less than the finest Cracker Barrels this nation has to offer. Our first show is in San Franciski on the 26th and the tour goes until the 17th in Dallas with the Reverend Horton Heat. Then we have our own headlining celebration gig in Austin TX at EMO's. Should be a blast as always.
Blaine and Nine Pound Hammer just got back from a few gigs in France and Holland including the amazing SPEEDFEST with Peter Pan Speedrock - all reports have been stellar so far and I am fucking pissed I wasn't there. I finally watched the PETER PAN SPEEDROCK DVD out of jealousy and there are some classic Jeremy moments on there to say the least - most of the DVD is in Dutch but Jeremy is speaking one of those Universal languages that happen late at night... pretty funny stuff. Look out for a movie called Run Fat Boy Run - Hammer has a song in it - also look out for a movie called ALL HAT which uses the Pussies 'High as Hell'. I haven't seen either so if you have, let me know!!

Rev Horton heat and Hank III HELLRIDE

Okay we've been off since Thanksgiving from this tour and I think we are all still reeling over how great it went. I cannot say enough about this combination of bands - Every night was sold out and every night the crowds were wrung out from partying so hard, three times in one night! It was a triple threat and Hank III was a triple threat within himself - playing in his glorious Damn Country band, The HellBilly co-oprative and finally the full frontal assault of Assjack. Having never seen Shelton and his entourage perform we were floored by the whole show and the people behind the machine - princes among men all of them.
We spent Halloween in Baton Rouge and got done up good. Harry Pussy Potter, Dee Snider, Elvis and of course Yosemite Sam!


Even the Rev was in the audience that night disguised as Joey Ramone he coud walk amongst us and not get hassled. Shelton was dressed in Ghoul makeup and later as some freaky New Orleans style Satan with a belt around his neck hoding his mask on - creepy!
We got a good look at those strips of leather he calls boots ducttaped to his feet - what a mess! We gotta buy that boy some boots!
The Rev's Jimbo had cuts painted all over his face so got no sympathy when he thew his bass into the ceiling and it came down and sliced open his nose. Oh well Chicks dig scars luckily.
It was my birthday in Orlando and before I passed out in the van the band arranged a delicious cake and a bubblemaker backstage for me to play with.
One of the crew got named FUCKBUBBLES for fighting with the bubbles that night. I had fun shoving cake into peoples faces andeven though the Fiddle player Adam had gum in his mouth- he was kind enough to say it was pretty tasty!

We got in the habit of borrowing assjack's lead singer Gary to sing Rose tattoo's Rock n Roll Outlaw with us - we got pretty damn good at it too I think. I still gotta remember to make sure I don't lose a tooth in the enthusiasm.


At the end of the tour we had gained a crew member as Kevin from Hanks' camp came home with us to celebrate Thankgiving 'Pussy Style' (a couple days late and too much of everything!!!) He baked a cake and even carved the bird!
Nashville Pussy has a few weeks off right now but will be back doing this all over again for Xmas and New Years on the west coast - we are all counting the days back to all that dirty fun on the stage and the back of the bus! I think I am starting to like the taste of moonshine now that I know it don't taste like water like Barney Fife led me to believe.
If we are still allowed on the bus - it'll be a blast, otherwise we'll be at the bar!!
Blaine is in Europe as I type - he's got three Hammer shows including one with the Almighty DWARVES in Eindhoven Rock City, Holland for the second annual SPEEDFEST put on by those Dutch cuties PETERPAN SPEEDROCK! Damn I wish I was there!

Gettin Down time finally!

Hey Y'all!! After our whirlwind tour of South America we had a few days off then we spent a few days in Vegas playing a private party which quicky became public at the PALMS 'Rain room'. It was really swanky to say the least and we ran into BMX'rs from around the world there for the Film premire we were playing. A bunch of crazy fuckers from Nelson BC put the show on and we met people from as far away as good old Holland. Partied with a bunch of Dutch that we met at the Lirop Festival as well as a bunch of Canuckleheads and of course the local Las Vegans. We played in front of a waterfall and there was a giant candelabra of fire blasting in the centre of the room that kept going off at climaxes in the music- it got hot in there.
Now we are just enjoying some time off - working up some new tunes and getting ready to hit CMJ in New York at Don Hills on the 18th. This is a virgin experience for Blaine and I as we get to play with both Nashville Pussy and Miss Georgia Peach. We have never performed as a band with her so it should be pretty exciting. Hopefully we will play early in the day at Don Hills and another show- I'll post on here when I have the details - but it should be worth checking out. The Miss Georgia '45 comes out in November and hopefully we'll have some for sale in NY as well.
We got to hang out with the Turbonegros when they played Atlanta last week (Euroboy's got braces!) And Saw Nick Oliveri for the first time since he was in Queens. Also Brent from Mastadon is fine in case you heard about his scuffle at the VMA's. For the TURBONEGRO after party Blaine got to DJ. This was his first time DeeJaying in the USA! Now he's done it in Melbourne, Montreal, Japan? I can't remember where else but the place was rocking. Man that guy can spin some wicked tunes - I know it sounds like my living room but that night he busted some shit out that we don't even listen to around the house. Including a bunch of shit that Turbonegro ripped off and some VIKINGS too!

Livin' High in Sao Paolo!

Hello from Sao Paolo!!

We are here at the beach! Chile was kinda chilly. Great show, blew their minds. Did an encore, partied all night then flew here.

Sao Paulo is 17 million people. The city with no end they say. Our hotel is next to the club and there are hookers and sex shops every foot. Some whore houses are 'disguised' by being 24 hour barber shops but they ain't fooling anyone.

We got into the city around 9 at night and had a fabulous meal of local delights. Lots of empenadas, beef stews, rice and beans. dried Salted beef with onions and 'Halloween fruit' that had cheese in it and tasted like good cheesey grits. Today we drove to the beach. Down a crazy mountain past a giant Peteoleum city that was disgusting. And past cities of ghettos called favellas. Where it is supposedly super dangerous and they sell crack.

We spent hours walking on the beach and ate some great seafood and drank caprianahs. While watching guys play futball. Blaine was all excited we were gonna eat squirrel but the translation was wrong and it turned out to be only squid! We'll probably have to go back to Georgia for the squirrel. Now we are settling down for spaghetti with three sauces made by one of the girlfriends.

We have pretty much three days off. Two at the beach apartment and one in Sao Paulo when Blaine is going to DJ in the city and we get to watch!!

From North to South!

Hello everybody!! I am writing to y'all in the airport in Miami on our way to glorious Santiago Chile!!

We just had a fantastic fucking quickie in Canada! Whistler as usual was a complete blast, they got no snow up on the mountain so all the permanent victims of that town are hungry for the rock. The opening band Fireflood were very metal, very Judas Priesty but with hot straight boys instead.

Calgary at the Snatch bar was THE best Calgary show we have ever had. The place sold out by midnight and we had 1100 fans of rock to party with. Nashville Pussy was the entertainment for one of the biggest tattoo conventions in North America. People were there from all over the world so our audience was full of diehard Pussy fans and a shitload of virgins. The crowd was crawling with super hot chicks and freaky dudes. Mr. Pink Suit turned out to have his own reality show about a rock n roll style barber shop where regular customers have their own beer steins stored for their next haircut. I swear every next person had a tale to tell.

Kat von D. was the big draw for the fest so a bunch of those TLC fuckers were there. We met Pixie who is on LA Ink also. She seemed totally cool for someone who has to deal with cameras in her face all the time.

If you read my first blog you know Jeremy was in a Smokey and the Bandit style road race to Texarcana. First prize was a Trans Am.

I guess they had to scavenger hunt photos to prove they had done the whole trip. One of the items was a photo of two guys in matching cowboy outfits. Jeremy and Tom and Adam actually managed to convince two guys in a western wear shop to get done up in their goofiest matching outfits to pose for the shot, turquoise shirts and those licence plates real cowboys use for beltbuckles. Not to be outdone Jeremy wore his tuxedo t shirt, a cape, a top hat and cane with little white gloves. Tom and Adam had matching Dickie coveralls with Tom wearing his Easy Rider red white and blue motorcycle helmet and Adam wore a ten gallon hat and a fake mustache over a drawn on sharpie mustache. One of the scavenger photos was of a bar brawl and Jeremy said they almost started one walking into a bar dressed the way they were. Unfortunately they lost the race to a bunch of savvy chicks from Atl who had a GPS and nailed all the scavenger points but fortunately the first prize car our boys lost was a piece of shit spray painted Firebird that no one even wanted to ride in and wasn't even bolted to the frame. Remo said the windows wouldn't roll up and were kept from rattling with napkins stuffed between the glass and car door. A real classy ride.

Ahhh a good time had by all. I will try and convince them to post some photos cause it sounds like a fucking hoot!

Our last show in Canada was in good ol' Edmonton and went real good but it was the end of the lo-ong weekend and everyone rocked out but was pretty burnt out. 'the weekend was showing...'

So now we sit at the Miami airport watching Osama on CNN because he dyed his beard for his new video. Blaine says he was at our show in whistler but snuck out before the encore to go boarding.

We have five shows in South America, they keep changing our schedule, but it looks like we play Santiago Del Chile, a few days on a beach, Sao Paulo, Goiania, Sao Paulo again and Belem and back home. Sounds like a great time. Any tour that has the words 'beach day' right on the itinerary is good with me! I talked to Lisa from the Bellrays last night and she said Sao Paulo was fantastic so we are ready for a good time. Lemmy told is that Brazil is the most rock and roll place on the planet.

Rock and a hard place

HELLO Pussy Posse! Welcome to our new, slowly renovated Website and MY first ever BLOG! A lot has been happening with the PUSSY lately even though we've been on 'vacation' writing the new album - so I thought I'd drop in and say HIGH!


Most recently we celebrated 10 years of a successful Menage et trois. Blaine and I and Jeremy have been playing in NASHVILLE PUSSY for ten years now! Who had any idea we'd be presenting Jeremy with a trophy for 10 years of dedicated service in our backyard with a cast of miscreants and other heathens to celebrate the milestone. I think ten years is the Hamburger anniversary isn't it? Maybe It's the Whiskey anniversary - either way we had it covered and we all had a ball.




At this very moment Blaine and I are awaiting word that Jeremy might be the winner of a Burt Reynolds style scavenger hunt al la Smokey and the Bandit. Him and Adam (ex drummer of the Drugs and the 45's) and Mr. Tom Jergowitz started off at 8 am from Atlanta towards Texarcana to get a case of COORS! There was supposed to be 20 teams leaving from here this morning for the10 hour non race - but last night was the Burt a thon at the drive in and therefore only 5 teams actually started the race. The winner gets a car, an old trans am or something- but I'm still waiting to hear that it's a matchbox car... Anyways - Team Remo was the first to get there with all the scavanged Photos they had to collect to get points and now we just wait........ should be any minute now!!


This past weekend was quite nuts - we had the first Saturday night off as a band in New York City in the history of Rock bands who don't live in New York City! - Oh and we had a couple of gigs too. The Boat Cruise - was... a lot of fun, we rocked a shitload - but we didn't get to see the Statue of Liberty as promised - and for some reason we were still playing while we docked. Someone needed a watch or something. The next day was ASBURY LANES! This place rules and is truly the gem of Asbury. Like a time machine back to a groovier time full of hipsters from hell. We played right on a stage built over the lanes while Texas Chainsaw/ Car Crash/ Burlesque stuff played on a movie screen behind us. The audience was very cool but the atmosphere was outrageously fantastic - anyone near this place HAS TO GO! We played with none other than Scott Biram and SWASHBUCKLE a pirate metal band, aarrrrrr.

Saturday we spent a working man's hours at MANTOBA'a swell bar - getting told Rock stories form Daddy Dick. Again swell time had by all- but this time we were the audience. Mr. Daniel Rey was there and we are making plans for the future!!! Hint Hint.
